The Meinl B10141618DU Byzance Dual Core Cymbal Set is a hand-hammered cymbal set made of B20 bronze in the Byzance Dual finish. Handcrafted in Turkey by skilled cymbalsmiths, this cymbal set is finished with a very special Finish. On the outside, one ring is finely turned and polished to a Brilliant finish, while the inner area is left raw. Additionally, the underside is given a Traditional finish. This unique mix of finishes also provides the stunning sound. Full and musical with a fast response, this cymbal set has clear and dry sound characteristics.

Due to the extraordinary hammering and the special turning process the 14″ Dual hi-hat has a very soft Attack together with an earthy basic character. The thin 10″ Dual Splash responds very quickly and its trashy sound allows for a unique effect. The direct response of the 16″ Dual Trash Crahes offers together with the complex basic character effect sounds in every dynamic range. The 18″ Dual Crash offers a very explosive response with a trashy tone. All Becken from this Set are hand-hammered from B20 bronze in the Turkish tradition.
